Tupalo is a social yellow pages community, based in Vienna, Austria, containing an international database of local businesses for social people. Content on Tupalo is available for visitors and registered members, via a city-based organizational structure, which divides content into categories, tags and keywords. Registered users are able to collect friends and businesses in a social network environment, as well as create custom sets, which act as mini-city guides. In addition, registered users are able to edit local business entries in a wiki-like environment and participate in city, or topic-focused discussion groups.

 

YellowBot seeks to be a hyper-local search engine and community discussion resource. YellowBot designed to allow consumers to find exactly what they are looking for in the search area. Their search engine has been in beta over over a year, but is not publicly open. Yellow bot is entering a space crowded with players.
